…[a fan raised the challenge to] Yang Sihamoni, President of the CMFL, claiming that one lion could defeat his entire league of 42 fighters.
…The Cambodian Government allowed the fight to take place, under the condition that they receive a 50% commission on each ticket sold, and that no cameras would be allowed in the arena.
The fight was called in only 12 minutes, after which 28 fighters were declared dead, while the other 14 suffered severe injuries including broken bones and lost limbs, rendering them unable to fight back.

I’m home again for a bit and am going to try being productive and not leaving town until the Terjit party in the middle of next month. Me being flat broke and a month behind on my rent also helps.
My goal is to sort of use the time as a period of reflection and focusing. Granted, I have in the past wanted to have a period of reflection and focusing, and generally just managed to have a period of lazing about and doing fuck all.
I figure I ought to have better luck with it if I have some sort of reward worked in. I mean, I like inner peace and all that jazz, but it’s amorphous and hard to gage. Pretty much the only time I managed to consistently go to the gym here was leading up to WAIST. It was the possibility that being fitter would make it more likely that someone would make out with me that motivated me.
What do I want in my life right now? The big things that are lacking are a sense of professional direction and general loneliness. I’m expecting to be pretty busy with projects and whenever I get busy, I tend to kill time with productive, but not important things. For instance, today I was supposed to be finishing EcoDev’s site, but instead blew three hours reworking JulBrew’s. So, I’m pretty sure that I’ll get my résumé redone and that’s the next big thing on my professional timeline.
This leaves the loneliness bit. Hmm, what to do there? Well, the emotional stuff I need another person for. That leaves the physical. Intriguing. ☺ What sorts of things would a person do to get in top shape for lovin’?
What goes into good sex?

I’ve been learning some basic physiology lessons in the last few days. First lesson was that a sharp force, like a kick, applied to an existing cut, can cause the flesh to split. Second lesson is that the reason we put stitches in split flesh is because they will continue to split if put under stress. Third is that if you have splitting flesh and you don’t get it stitched relatively recently after splitting it, it starts to heal over and you can’t get it stitched.
Just call me gimp. Or dumb. Either is appropriate.

I am home once again. The road to get me here has been a long one. I’m gonna try and recount it. Unfortunately the only thing my memory is renowned for is its feebleness. Well, no harm in trying…

About two years ago now a $80,000 computer center went into the high school in Aioun as part of a project with the EDDI. Their internet connection went mysteriously dead about four months ago and Mauritel claims it is not their fault.

Not dead. Monkeys are faster than me. Hippos are big fucking animals. Pissed one off a bit and it is intimidating.
No internet for two weeks though. Now in Saint Louis for Jazz Fest. Can’t type really well here, so a more in depth entry will be forthcoming…
